Hello fellow Blogies. Recently in Dubai there
was a horse race that had a lot at stake. This race offered a price of $10
MILLION to the winner. Coming into the race the #9 ranked horse in the world
was favored to win. This horse was none other than the American star California
Chrome. For those who don’t know who California Chrome is he is a horse who won
the first two races of the Triple Crown last year. After it all ended it we
learned that California Chrome races better on American soil because he ended
up getting second in this race. The winner of the $10 million was Prince
Bishop, who had a 14/1 chance to win before the race.
Before I give my opinion
I would just like to say that I am not fond of horses and do not follow horse
racing unless it’s the Kentucky Derby. But, in my opinion, I think $10 million
for a horse race is a little absurd. I mean all that is happening is a bunch of
horses running around a track to see who is the fastest. I mean California
Chrome was bought for two thousand dollars and he had a chance to win $10
million. Honestly I think maybe one million dollars should be the max amount
they could win but I can’t control that so.
